~ inspired shopping

This is my fourth and final post about my recent trip to St. Louis! I've already mentioned that my sister-in-law Nina and I did a little shopping. (When I say a little, I mean a lot.) I was newly inspired after recent inspired home posts! Beautifully displayed collections gave me a whole new perspective on what to look for, and I realized that I do in fact have room for more! After spending hours in an antique mall, we found more than a few things we couldn't live without.
Here are a some of the things I picked up...

The antique books were in a bundle with this bow...

These are the carpet balls we saw in Nancy's and Stacey's inspired homes...
I put them on "shakers" which I believe were used to shake sand onto wet ink to dry...

Here, the tole tray and the brown pot...

Also the top left wicker wine jug... loved that shape!

 Oh, and the wooden ball...

Darling tiles!

A brass bank with key

The tea caddy on the right with the inlaid designs down the front.

The little wooden plaque hanging below the cookie cutter.

Can I please tell you what I found? GLOBES! They aren't old, but they look great in my son's room. I love globes!

Saw this blue and white strainer in Stacey's collection... was thrilled to find one for me!

These scalloped tole plates are darling in my back bathroom. Need to get plate hangers...

I spent only one night in St. Louis. Nina and I don't mess around. We are focused and determined shoppers/movers of things/creators of vignettes... and mixed with a little crazy, look how much we can accomplish! I've been posting about this trip all week!

I love all your collections of fun things. The colors are so bright and cheerful. I especially like all the olive jars I have seen in some of your posts!
