~ inspired garden: jill

Oh my, I can't tell you how overwhelmed I am with the beauty in this inspired garden and home. We are talking serious and intense beauty. I am eternally grateful to Jill for allowing me to peruse and take hundreds of photos at my leisure. I felt like a kid in a candy shop, eyeing one delicacy after another... This will be an experience and a post you will come back to again and again for inspiration as the details can not be appropriately taken in in one visit...
Let's start outside... this is one of the most charming patios I've ever seen...

I love those corbels!

The stone medallions on the wall are from the Lauritzen Gardens Antique Show this year.
Remember I highlighted them with this photo?

Don't they look fantastic on the brick?

I really love those corbels on their side... wasn't that a brilliant idea?

Absolutely stunning!
Wait until you see the inside!

Since I took so many photos, I will give you a nice sneak peek...

Are you drooling? Stay tuned for more when we go inside this inspired home coming next!

You are so right, this yard is gorgeous. I love the ivy espalier adn the console table, both are ideas I have had on the back burner for awhile this is spurring me on to go forward with these ideas!! Now if I could only get hubby on board, that is the trick of the century,Kathysue

Holy smokes that is one gorgeous home inside and out and you just know I am loving that stunning chincoiserie paper!! The gardens are down right dreamy and clearly a true labor of love and the inside looks spectacular as well. More, more, more Jan!! Great "investigative reporting"!

Jan, this garden is gorgeous. There is nothing I like better in a garden than architectural fragments, espalier and clipped parterres. The inside looks fabulous as well. I love the Imari and cannot wait to see the rest.

Beautiful gardens! What a wonderful tour! The inside looks gorgeous...I can tell it's going to be just as beautiful as the gardens!

Equisite good taste even in the garden. That wrought iron table would be fab in my hallway where I have a small space for a slim table like that. It's given me a wonderful idea for that space.

I remembered a movie where they put a secret garden on one side of their very huge garden. This garden looks the same in that movie.
