~ inspired home... jill

Drum roll please.....
Thank you for waiting patiently over the weekend for Jill's inspired home... I purposely shared several gorgeous sneak peek photos so you would know exactly what kind of incredible we're talking about. This will be a two part inspired home. I am somewhat overwhelmed with the details, and feel that some may go unnoticed if I try to include them all in one post.

Let's start with the entry. As soon as you enter this home, you know you are in for something over the top. Every inch, every spec of this home is exquisite and pristine.

 See what I mean?
The dining room is to the left after walking through the entry, however it opens up to the living room and kitchen... such a wonderful open space! The wallpaper is divine... just divine.

Yes, Tina (The Enchanted Home) I know you are loving this amazing wallpaper!

The Imari collection was making me woozy... it's everywhere and it's amazing!

You can get a feel for the open floor plan here...

The wall to the left in this living room photo is solid windows and opens to that gorgeous patio...

Look at that rug! (Sigh)

I could've taken detail photos for days... (it looks like I did!)

Look at the molding in the living room and dining room... talk about detail! I'm not sure I've ever seen a prettier color...

This is most likely the most beautiful powder bathroom you will ever encounter... Wow! (PS There is an actual toilet in here... it just looks a bit out of place with all this gorgeousness going on...)

Look at the trim in the corner... and the Fortuny shade on the lamp...

Have you ever in your life seen a hallway this magnificent?

The hallway leads to the master bedroom which we will visit in part two...

More hallway beauty...

The kitchen is adjacent to the dining room and has it's share of treasures...

Love this display of majolica...
Can you see the color of the inside of the cabinet? Details!

The den/study houses an unusual and unique collection of Sumida pottery along with plenty of handsome details.

Sumida ware began as Japanese pottery made in the Chinese style. I have never seen or heard of Sumida ware and was fascinated by this extensive collection. The charm and colorful glaze combinations are captivating and easily enjoyed in this remarkable display. The whimsical pieces represent beauty, humor, and folklore and are a rare find.

Jill owns several pieces featured in this book on Sumida...

Quite a collection indeed. Stay tuned for lovely bedrooms and a few more details to be featured in part two of this inspired home. In the mean time, I assure you that scrolling through this post a second and third time will not disappoint. You will surely find a new detail or something special that you didn't catch the first time through...
Enjoy!
