~ french valentine diy

Back in December, I fell in love with a post on the lovely blog, Chic Provence. I have revisited these images several times and have finally decided they must be shared, especially amidst the Valentine season!

I'm not much for DIY projects, however, if I were having a Valentine get-together, a sweet sixteen birthday get-together, a Mother's Day get-together, (you get the idea) I would seriously consider doing this project... such a show-stopper! In my opinion, it looks intense, like there's no way I can pull it off intense, but in fact, it's not difficult at all. What a perfectly lovely centerpiece for a Valentine luncheon! (It's not edible)

Click the image below to see the DIY video from Marie Claire... It's in french, but if you have eyeballs, you should be fine...

Here are a few other gorgeous images from the Chic Provence post...

Apparently, this idea came from a charming little flower shop in Paris. To read a review on the shop in the NYT, click the shop button below...

Looks like you can order these from their online shop...

Pretty charming...

Can you believe it's almost Valentine's Day?

Having fun visiting your archives. I remember when I first discovered au nom de la rose in Paris.
