~ my christmas table

Whoopsie! As I was going through photos, trying to organize and create more space, I came across my Christmas table pics. I forgot to do a post and share. Oh well, just in time for Tablescape Thursday.

The Mackenzie-Childs vases were purchased last minute and I think they are wonderful! I will look forward to pulling them out each and every year!

The tulips were thanks to a quick trip to Whole Foods on Christmas Eve... So love and appreciate their floral department!

I can't believe I didn't get a better shot of the angel candlesticks! I absolutely love them so much. My husband grew up with them at his Christmas table. I found the small one on this end last year at an estate sale. It doesn't match perfectly, but it blends nicely and adds a bit of interest.

Remember this post from Party Resources back in September? I clicked right on the source Kate graciously supplied, and the flatware I'd been wanting for years was on sale 50% off! Just in time for the holidays! Thanks Kate! (I just re-clicked and it's not on sale anymore... it's backordered!)
I used place cards this year for the first time. Seems like people always want to know where to sit. I used monograms instead of names and tied some ribbon at the top of the card.. easy!
The table was even better with the food and family seated around!

I'll be linking up for Tablescape Thursday over at BNOTP! Click button below to visit...

White tulips are my favorite flowers, and the MacKenzie-Childs vases are stunning (I love all things MacKenzie-Childs). Your Christmas table is so pretty, and I know your family enjoyed it, too.

Hi! This is my first visit to your site. I'm coming over from Tablescape Thursday. Beautiful table!!! I love the tulips! I like "traditional" Christmas flowers, too, but when I see a table with something a little different, it makes me very happy. White tulips in winter just seem to be so perfect! Have a warm, happy weekend!

Pretty like everything in your home! Still loving your brick floors!!!!

The horn flatware adds so much to a winter table. We have an antique stag horn carving set that is so handsome. I have seen them sold on ebay, even on etsy. I had our set sharpened and cleaned after purchasing. Very handsome, looks great sitting out during the holidays.

Your dining room is lovely, and the tablescape terrific. Love the multi-colored napkin rings, and tulips down the middle of the table. The white pops and almost look like candlelight. Nice jog. Thanks for posting. If you have time this weekend, stop by www.inandoutmynest.blogspot.com. I've just started a weekly blog party called R & R Weekend for sharing ideas about Rest and Rejuvenating our creative spirits.
