~ winter park landscape

During our recent trip to Winter Park, Florida, I was especially charmed with the vibrant colors of the flowering bushes and shrubs. Equally impressive were the grandiose trees dripping with Spanish moss.
Take a look at a few snapshots from around town...

The moss, which I've mentioned already, and is also reminiscent of my trip to SC, is absolutely wonderful...

and majestic...

Maybe it's because I live in Omaha, and although we had a beautiful Fall and have had a mild Winter, we certainly do not have blooming trees, and even in the summer months, moss is not option, ever. I was so inspired, especially at this time of year, to see such beauty!
Even more Winter Park to come!

I used to live on St. Simons Island, Ga. and it is full of the oaks with the Spanish moss hanging. So pretty.
