~ favorite color

This color! It's the color I keep turning to... I am completely consumed with love for this color. Is it coral? Yes, maybe. It's my favorite and I don't know what to call it, except gorgeous...

I found these images on Style Me Pretty at a wedding shoot. The photographer Corbin Gurkin, works from a boutique destination wedding studio maintained in Charleston. Check out this map from her website...
She seems to be pretty spectacular.
This charming structure of my favorite color, happens to be in Copenhagen...

With the sunlight, it's more orange...

Finally, it hit me...

Looks a hell of a lot like tangerine tango doesn't it?

Yes. I would say it most certainly does.
Apparently, my favorite color is the color of the year... duh.

Oh dear I don't know if my other comment got lost in blogger but here goes again! I lean a bit more towards terracotta but basicaly to base tone remains the same as tangerine veering just to the other side of the colour spectrum , so obviously this hue also appeals to me. Where you use it with green (most probably) I would pair it with ochre or old gold or a creamy colour to fit with my colour palette. Wherever it is used it provides a warm glow and a happy mood. The way the light plays with it is just another added bonus.

Have a great weekend

You are such a blazing trailblazer...see you you knew the color of the year before the genuises over at Patone knew the color of the year. LOVE the picture of that glorious building against the lush landscape....spectacular!!!!!!!

It's a fabulous color but not sure I would want my home that color. Really sort of works on that building.

Happy Friday!

It's your year! They even have that color in Easter basket grass this year - I bought some for my daughter...who I know will like it as she had her car detailed with this stripe color!

The color on that building is amazing. Orange is gorgeous, but when a little pink is added it's even better!
