~ chicago

What a whirlwind of a day! I flew to Chicago last Sunday and accomplished as much as I possibly could in one day.

Is this an impressive entrance, or what?

Absolutely stunning were the tulips and hydrangea along this lovely street where our next inspired home resides.

Never have I seen the color combination below... so gorgeous!

Don't let the spring bulbs fool you. It was typical Chicago... bone-chilling wind froze my fingers while snapping these photos!

This is where my smart friends stayed overnight. With all my recent travels, I just couldn't spend another night away from home.

Not to worry. As you will see, I fit it all in.
Stay tuned for more Chicago... to the tune of two weeks worth of posts!

Love seeing your gorgeous photos! Deer eat the tulips in our area so most homeowners don't even bother, thank you for sharing so I could get a spring tulip fix!

Good Morning Jan:

OMG! So sorry I didn't know you were coming! It sounds like you were busy (a mild statement!) Remember for the future, I would always pick you up, show you around and share my B & B in the Western suburbs of Chicago anytime!! There would be no check out time and only causual moments of relaxation and tours of the greatest shops in the neighborhoods
of Chicago! FYI, no check out time and no charge!! oxox M. A.

Those are amazing photos, Jan!! If I lived there, I'd walk / drive by these streets everyday. Looks like a movie set :-)
