~ more naples

Just a few more shots of my last trip to Naples, FL...

Take a look at this bougainvillea!

It was a cloudy day, but the blooms seemed to glow, even without the sun...

At the end of our last trip to FL, we spent some time with my parents in Winter Park. That visit produced the next three posts... Stay tuned!

I love visiting Naples. Apart from the great beaches and places to eat, the Art & Antiques walks and festivals they hold there are great fun. I love your pictures of the Bougainvilleas, wish we could grow them as well back in Blighty!

Those azaleas are beyond beautiful. My favorite azalea color!

I truly enjoy your happy, cheerful blog full of wonderful photos and ideas. It's also fun to see pictures posted from Florida, since I live in the Orlando area. I did want to point out that I believe the blooms in your photos from Naples are actually Bougainvilleas, not azaleas, as one of your other readers already noted. Thanks again for a wonderful, inspiring blog!

Hi! You have wonderful pictures of this garden. In Brazil, azaleas were brought by Japanese immigrants, but they do not climb the walls. They bloom in spring and anounce the spring here in São Paulo, as they are in the parks or along some avenues. These ones of your pictures we call here Boungainvilleas. My mother had them in her garden and with other colours too. We can realize your stay in Naples were very nice and relaxing.

Congratulations for your blog!

Regards from São Paulo, Brazil.
