~ this buds for you

Had to coin the phrase my brothers were so fond of growing up in St. Louis. One brother was so taken with the Budweiser phrase, his license plate read SBUDS4U.
The buds I speak of in this post title refer only to the spring type, and I bravely brought my camera on my walk this weekend so that I could share some of the bud beauty...

Jan - These "buds" are beautiful (much prettier than the other kind)! And I love your Jack Arnold house - one of my favorite designs. Happy Spring!

So beautiful Jan! So sad that the flowers don't last longer, because they are the most beautiful of all. Not that I don't love my roses and other flowers, but these blooms are so massive and make such a statement.
Thanks for sharing your walk.

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!! House, buds and all!

I love your title too. Makes me laugh. My daughter used to love to sing the Budweiser "Real Men of Genius" ad songs. I actually miss hearing them too! :D

These are my kind of Buds! Totally gorgeous. You're definitely ahead of us in the blooming department. I'm kind of glad everything hasn't bloomed yet, as I'm envisioning my house being finished and then everything blooming on cue. Probably won't happen, but I can dream.

And, I'm totally obsessed with Bradford Pears now. They are all over town and I must have some!! That will be next year's landscape budget!!

Hi Jan,

I, too, am an afficianta of Jack Arnold's homes. We have ALL of his portfolios. While I prefer stone to brick, the "bones" of any Jack Arnold home look terrific with almost any exterior covering.

It's amazing that the layout of your furniture is almost exactly how I planned to lay out the furniture in our Monet. Love the warm colors you have chosen for your home. The detailing will make Charles Faudree proud!
