Makes me hungry and inspired at the same time. We once had a giant peacock carved out of a watermelon for a party we hosted. The center was filled with fruits and dips, while the feathers were long wooden skewers filled with various fruits. It was a huge hit. Let me know if you would like to see photographs. - Tonya

Now I want some melon and we don't have any in the house. Gorgeous colors and I always love your banners.

Enjoy your day!

Your pictures are always so beautiful. They jump right off the page at you. Makes me want some melon - I guess I will have to get to the kitchen and cut up the two cantaloupes I have sitting on the counter. I love melon, but hate to cut it up - was hoping hubs would do it.

So pretty! I love the melon shades of summer and the sweet, light and decadent taste of melon. On a gray day it's so nice to see a little bit of summer here! Thank you.

I have always known that your blog banner is the prettiest in blogland. Now I know the inspiration. Love melons!

Beautiful and so good for you! I just bought my first melon of the season and it was delicious. I recently tried an appetizer of watermelon with olive oil, and salt/pepper. I think there was mint in there too ~ delicious!
