~ inspired home: architectural inspiration part 4

Part 4
Master Suite

Hopefully you are not just showing up for this inspired home. If you are, this is a home you will not want to miss. (Click on Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 to catch up.)

The entrance to the bedroom is quite something. I'm so in love with that border in the entry... and on the ceiling! And the stained glass? Oh Heavenly Father!

The master bedroom is peaceful and serene as it should be...

The view could not be more lovely.

I'm afraid if I lived here, I'd lock myself in this room and never come out...

Looking into the master bedroom from the master bathroom...

These magnificent majolica tiles were the first things collected by this collector, and began a history of appreciating antiques and the art of the hunt...

The closet is the most recent addition and it's pretty wonderful...

Love the robin's egg blue. And check out the hardware...

Love the mix...

The bedroom really does feel incredibly peaceful - which I find lacking in a whole lot of bedrooms. Love love love the mirror over the tub. Also the bathroom cabine is gorgeous - looks like it is made out of a piece of furniture? I could go on and on! Oh, I love majolica - what a great starting place!

I love your friends bedroom but that closet and with a washer and dryer in it....HEAVEN! That was a great idea to put them in there where the clothes come off. Your friend has wonderful taste.
