~ more master bedroom

I could not be happier about the upholstered pieces that I promised to share with you in this post. I love when things turn out prettier than expected. I was expecting pretty, but I got pleasantly prettier!

These chairs were covered in burlap, and I liked it. But it was beginning to seem dull and dismal. We left the back in the burlap and just covered the front in a Brunschwig & Fils toile. Certainly brightened things up! Love the mix of toiles...

Fell in love with this fabric and had to have it somewhere. Luckily, I think it's charming in the bedroom...

This piece was also covered in burlap and had no seat cushion. This is quite an improvement ~ Love the buffalo check on the side...

I need a super charming french table to go between this pair of chairs...

Still more to come... I am DYING to recarpet this room. In the beginning, I loved that brown wool - it reminded me of sisal, but soft. Now I think it's drab and dark. I have a lovely carpet picked out, but I'm too chicken to order. I'll have to keep thinking and analyzing a bit longer. I also have 3 benches in my hallway and bath area that will be getting reupholstered very soon... will share when those are back!

The bedroom is looking so cozy and elegant. The mix of fabrics make it interesting and not 'matchy matchy'.
That little French table will just finish the room off nicely. Happy hunting for the perfect one.

Love the warm, cozy colors you are using. So many people are taking the "safe" neutral gray and white route these days. I think your look will stand the test of time.

BTW - we have a golden wheat colored carpet throughout our house. It goes with just about everything except pink and gray.

Just a thought!
