~ bring spring

Bringing home batches of flowers is what gets me through the gloom of non-spring. When it's May and it's close to 30 degrees, and the sun is hidden for days at a time, I can sink into a bundle of doom.
Here's how I cope:

Tulips and freesia...

Tulips with yellow centers...

Coral roses...

Kalanchoe and ivy...

Begonia and campanula and ivy...

Fresh fruit also helps the situation...

I think I've made it. Although it's currently sleeting and snowing, sun and warm temps are in the forecast... May is here!

I'm off to the Kentucky Derby...

It looks like you've ushered in Spring perfectly!

I host a weekly party called Seasonal Sundays. I'd love to have you join. The link goes up at 7 pm EST on Saturday evenings.

I like the way you think! Tulips and freesia are favorites here. I think I'm going to go buy some for myself tomorrow. Have fun at the Derby. ~ Sarah
