~ new master bedroom carpet story

After fourteen years, the original carpet in my master bedroom didn't look that bad, but with the recent changes to the decor in the room, the darker carpet had to go.

And so the story begins...
Once upon a time, my designer Richard White brought me a beautiful sample of carpet and I ordered it and I loved it. The End.

I feel pretty confident in saying that doesn't typify a normal design scenario. I did not go to a store. I did not look in a book. I did not see any other options. One sample ~ done.

Out with the old...

In with the new!

Still need a comfortable chair and ottoman. That kitchen chair is saving the spot...

Still need a charming table between these chairs...

Love the mix of toiles!

(Hallway to bathroom and closets...)

Ta da!
So glad to have this crossed off the list. If you are interested in this carpet, please don't hesitate to call Richard White to order...

That's funny, we have the opposite going on in our master. We have wool trellis carpeting in the same tone but smaller pattern that is 12 years old. Not ready to be replaced yet but getting there.

Your house has the most sumptuous fabrics. That's a word I hardly ever use but it definitely applies to your beautiful home! Have you ever blogged about your living room sofa fabric? So gorgeous!
