~ my jack arnold home

I'm such a fan of Jack Arnold homes. My favorite design is the Magnifique ~ a Country French Classic. I'm lucky that I still love it today as much as I did when we built ours almost 15 years ago!
And this is my favorite Magnifique image...

This is the same house, featured in Southern Accents in 2007. I found this image on James Farmer's blog. I love the mix of brick and stone!

And yet another Magnifique…

Is this the same house reversed? It has to be, doesn't it?

Here's another great example of the Magnifique - I love this dining room window!

Notice the dining room window is shown on the right above and on the left below...

Another Magnifique… Dining room window on the right here...

And on the left...

We put ours on the right...

The Magnifique is my fav, but I love this one too. The ivy is spectacular and those chimney caps are quite charming... also from Jack Arnold.

I am pretty sure this is Jack Arnold's house!

This looks like it would be the back of the house...

If we built another home, now that we are almost empty nesters, I think I would choose this one…

I am a huge Jack Arnold fan. Building our house was a super easy process for us...

I totally agree. I love Jack Arnold homes. Lucky for me that I live in Tulsa Oklahoma and this style home is practically everywhere! It is worth a trip to Tulsa just to go house stalking!!

Hi Jan, these homes just ooze charm. I had a friend who built one of his homes and as you said it was a painless process, they are manageable in size and so charming and pretty.

Enjoy your day....

I knew your taste resonated with me. We built a Jack Arnold house, too--about 19 years ago. However, we modified it a bit to fit in our Pennsylvania Dutch neighborhood. Maybe I will do a post on it, whenever the snow melts in our neck of the woods. Don't you love the proportions of Jack Arnold's rooms and ceiling heights? And, one last question: What is the smaller home you like called?

It is a very charming home, I like the one with the gentle sweep
to the roof. That's a classic.
Enjoy every day in this beautiful home. God Bless

Well they are all just beautiful and I love yours. It is so nice to hear that the building process for you was easy and pleasant, so often you hear the opposite. I love the one with all the blue hydrangeas flanking the walk!
