~ chicago antiques show

While visiting my darling daughter last weekend, I also attended the Chicago Antiques Garden & Design Show at the Chicago Botanic Garden. One of my favorite shows!

Loved this painting at Greenwald Antiques...

Wanted to buy this pair of gorgeousness...

Always a pleasure to see the beautiful display at Kimball & Bean. Look at the hanging frames. Guests took their photos standing behind during the Prevew Party ~ love it!

Love their planters!

I've photographed this gorgeous planter before from Finnegan Gallery...

Lee's Antiques was a fun new find for me. Great booth with modern flair.

What a gorgeous exhibit!

The flower display is always over the top in Chicago!

Soloman & Suchard ~ one of my all-time favorite booths!

Trace Mayer Antiques was jam-packed with bee-buying customers! Trace is always showing up with new renditions of his infamous bees/dragonflies/horsebrass/cameos/etc mounted on antique frame fragments... Beyond brilliant and always a huge hit with shoppers!

Another all-time fav ~ Sallea Antiques...

I mean I pretty much want about 30 things in this case... I adore boxes!

As organized as I claim to be, I managed to mix up a few images and lost track of who they belong to... Sorry about that!

I bought that Fitz & Floyd shell plate for my mom!

An absolutely stunning show...

Hi Jan,

I love antique shows! They are so inspiring. Thanks for sharing...Thank you for including Paul Lange! His big bloom photographs are just gorgeous! So fresh and clean.

That dealer is serious about their boxes. Wow. amazing. What a beautiful collection. Each is so handsome. Did you walk away with at least one? Any bees to add to your collection?

I could easily shop your images! You and I share a love for many of the same things ~ Quimper, boxes, tortoise, tartan, and beautiful art. I think I need to add a trip to Chicago to my travel plans. Will make a note of this show. '-)
