~ end of summer garden walk

Whenever we visit my son in Salt Lake City, we take a stroll through the Temple Square gardens. We are not Mormon, but dear Lord, the gardens are spectacular for a visitor of any religion :)
Each season is represented beautifully, and late summer was no exception ~ especially colorful and fabulous!

Even the beds with only green are lush and vibrant...

You know how I love ivy!

I adore seeing the unexpected and creative combinations flowers...

Perfect specimens at every turn...

Any combination of flowers you can imagine can probably be found somewhere if you keep walking...

Check out these hanging baskets!

A reader recently sent an email suggesting that I take better care in "editing" my posts. I responded with an lol, and the message that I know! I totally agree! The sad truth is, you are getting the edited version, friends. I just get really excited about my photos and have a hard time deleting.
I have been a bit preoccupied lately, and that may have played a part in lack of editing. More on that preoccupation coming up soon!
