~ inspired home: mignon

I only wish you all could meet Mignon. She is one of the sweetest and tiniest humans on the planet. Her love of antiques, her exceptional eye for design, and her savvy sense of style is evident in everything she does.

This Atlanta home unveils some of the most exquisite antiques I've ever seen...

That chandelier!

Spectacular!

How about that peach velvet sofa?!

I was struck by the simplicity and elegance ~ no books or frames...

Ever considered white satin drapery for the dining room?
Totally works for Mignon!

They are magnificent..

Here you can see a tiny bit of the ultra contemporary kitchen... WISH I could have gotten better pics of that gorgeousness!

Another tiny glimpse of the kitchen...

The hallways showcase gorgeous rugs and contemporary art...

Mignon is the master of mixing contemporary art with antiques...

Absolutely fabulous!
So happy to share this exceptional home ~ such an inspiration!  I love it when someone is so pure in their design aesthetic. Mignon is one of those people. She has a look and I love it!

Jan, is Mignon a jewelry designer from New Orleans? This home is lovely, full of your treasured tangerine. Thanks for sharing this beauty.

I have a salmon oushak just like Mignon's one in her dining room. I love how she uses it with pale walls. I'm going to have to get mine out!

Jan, my favorite were the full, luscious cream silk curtains puddled on the floor and the gorgeous carpets. The color of 'tangerine' was one I'm sure you especially loved. Thanks for the tour.
