~ shopping in atlanta

Just spent the weekend in Atlanta and although my camera was having major problems, I did manage to get some great photos to share.

One of our favorite stops is The Stalls on Bennett Street, a treasure trove of antiques!

Loved these copper top tables...

And this trio of pitchers!

Another favorite stop, Foxglove Antiques...

We also visited these shops but my camera was NOT working...

There are several more shops we wanted to visit, but time was not on our side...

An amazing inspired home coming up next... Also a partial inspired home. (My camera finally crashed for good.)

OH! The winner of the Giddy Paperie giveaway is:
Deanne Fitzner

Deanne, please email me so I can get your mailing address! here

Jan, I've only been to Atlanta a few times, but each time I managed to make the rounds of some of their wonderful antique shops. Your photos make me long for a return trip. I was excited to see the cameau bleu tile. I have a set of tiles in polychrome, each a different circus act design. One is the same design as you show. I purchased my set at the Paris market many years ago, but have never seen others until this photo. I wish I knew more about them, but only information I have is that they are French.

Beautiful things! Would love to have one or two of those boxes. Thanks for taking us along.
