welcome to the new look of TFT!

Well, it turns out getting a new and improved look for your blog is a huge undertaking. I did not realize this was going to be such a big commitment! 

As I’ve mentioned recently, my blog posts have been fewer and far between, and to be honest, I just wasn't feeling the same enthusiasm about the blog in general. This is partly due to my heightened interest in instagram, but no matter the reason, the blog was suffering. 

I recently processed that I was no longer inspired by the appearance of my blog, and remembered the creative process is what originally drew me in! I spent hours perfecting that green background and have always LOVED it, but all of a sudden, I was not feeling it. I LOVED the cursive writing in my blog logo, and all of a sudden, it didn’t seem right. I just haven’t been inspired to sit down and write, or post photos, or contribute to the blog, and it finally dawned on me that the blog needed some updating.

With a LOT OF HELP from two very smart women, who are much more savvy than I am, we are about finished with the redesign and transfer. There are still a few wrinkles we are ironing out, but overall, it is ready for you to start exploring! I hope you will take a moment to navigate through the site, and see what you think! It was really fun going through past posts to fix glitches that occurred when they transferred over from blogger to squarespace. At one time, I had over 800 posts, but I cleared out a few irrelevant posts, and now there are just under 600 posts.

You will notice from the drop down menu you can choose to view blog posts by date or by category. So if you are interested in looking through all the past inspired home posts, they are all in one place! Or, if you want to find any antique shopping trips I’ve been on, they are in both the shopping and travel categories. Also, the search icon at the top right of the home page will assist if you are looking for anything specific.

I am inspired once again and excited to start posting more frequently!
