Each year, the Lauritzen Gardens Antique & Garden Show brings in top speakers from around the country. Thanks to an impressive line-up of past speakers, attendees have come to anticipate the announcement of our speakers each year with great excitement.

Who will it be this year?

The kick-off, Pop the Cork, was held in a beautiful home this year, showcasing stunning blue and white collections and beautiful flowers, clues to our 2017 speakers!

Our Friday speaker, Mark D. Sikes, an interior designer based out of LA, is the owner of a certain patio, featuring boxwood and blue and white patio furniture, on one of my favorite Veranda magazine covers. An instagram sensation, Mark was commissioned by Reese Witherspoon to design the adorable Draper James stores. His new clothing line, MDS STRIPES is everything! Mark's new book, Beautiful, was tucked in several places at the gathering, and looked beautiful indeed, in every instance.

Sophie Donelson, Editor and Chief of House Beautiful, will be joining Mark on stage to discuss and share their inspiration and expertise in the design world.

On Saturday, Shane Connolly, official florist to Her Majesty, the Queen of England, will be doing a floral demonstration. Shane was the artistic director for the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and is as charming as you would imagine.

During Shane's 90 minute presentation, he will be using antique containers from the dealer booths, and will incorporate cuttings he will make himself from local gardens. He is a true entertainer, a bit of a comedian, and of course, a floral genius!

Back by popular demand, Omaha Steaks will be presenting on Sunday with Chef Grant Hon. Grant's demonstration will once again include food preparation, and the meal is sure to be another big hit.

Tyler Fry, Chicago's newest rising star in mixology, will be joining Grant on stage. Tyler is an Omaha native, and will be sharing his methods on entertaining with cocktails.

The images above feature the dining room table. I was so excited to have the opportunity to share these beautiful tables with you! Here are a few photos from the kitchen table.

Those handprinted bottles are thanks to Kyle Robino... So charming!

Back to the formal dining room, more painted bottles...

That tulipiere!

The handpainted cookies were to die for...

This tiered blue and white beauty was in the front entry.

 Wow.

What an exciting way to announce our 2017 speakers for the Lauritzen Gardens Antique & Garden Show! This lovely home happens to have a very nice family living inside, and I am proud to call them my friends :) Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us, and inspiring us all to beautify our surroundings!
