FLOWERS IN THE HOUSE

Spending the winter in Florida has allowed me to take flowers and green vegetation for granted. Until I return home, that is, and then it’s a shock to my system. I stood on our back patio with my husband the other day and we truly wondered if our backyard would really turn green again. It will. I know it will. But there isn’t a hint of green anywhere to be seen right now. It is very brown.

A trip to the grocery store was just what I needed to bring a little sunshine into our lives. May as well enjoy the indoors since I’m spending most of my time here!

A good batch of bright tulips will brighten any room. Love the violet and green leaves with orange!

Can’t go wrong with white tulips.

I gave up on ivy last year, but I couldn’t pass up this pair of hearty, healthy ivy plants at my local Hy-Vee. I will be praying night and day they don’t get spider mites.

These yellow tulips were the perfect touch in the dining room.

God love this plant. It has literally been alive in my house for almost 2 years. I move it all around to different containers in different locations and it just keeps on living! I love him.

We have a couple weekend trips coming up and I’m trying to decide if it’s best to stay or go. Hope you are all staying safe and enjoying the longer days.
