LG 2025 Recap
I love walking the show and snapping photos of my favorite things: A preview of the weekend while the dealers are setting up their booths. A mere glimpse with the hope that viewers will be inspired to come to the garden to shop.
This year, our honorary chair, Kyle Robino, collaborated with a photographer, Stacie Kinney, who was able to document the weekend with her camera, giving a more professional and complete representation, and capturing so much of what we love about the show.
I’m thrilled to share this special portrayal of the 2025 Lauritzen Gardens Antiques & Design Show! The camaraderie of dear friends, the loyal and talented exhibitors and their beautiful booths, the curated tablescapes and details, the volunteers and staff - all of it!
A huge thank you to Kyle Robino who made it happen, and of course, to Stacie Kinney for spending the weekend at the garden capturing all our favorite things.
The Mercedes Mezzanine is the center of the show with dealers lining each wall, and walkways to more spaces with more dealers. The panels above the booths featured original art from Sara Huse, who is an absolute delight. Loved the balloons hanging from the ceiling! The horticulture team at the garden outdo themselves each and every year. Lush greenery and plants are everywhere.

The weather was perfect all weekend and this was the place to be!
Autumn is famous for her love of taxidermy! (Also for her boutique, The Loft at Remlo Studios.) She bought a collection of raccoons last year, and don’t worry, she bought a bobcat this year!

The Friday luncheon, featuring Kathryn Ireland, showcased a picnic theme and these baskets were the cutest of all time. The little tags feature Harrison Howard art - from the 2013 show that Kyle and I chaired!
One of the raffle prizes each day was a bottle of champagne for the table! Here’s Keeli at a winning table!
Behind the scenes, Mikaela and Keeli laughing while working NONSTOP for the past days, weeks, months, year! This is a perfect depiction of their personalities. Positive and full of fun.
Saturday’s lunch, featuring Martyn Lawrence Bullard was outstanding in every way. Our photographer was at another event that day, but rest assured, I have photos from a Friday evening dinner with photos of Martyn and Kathryn that will knock your socks off. Stay tuned for those in an upcoming post!
Sunday’s lunch, featuring David Netto and Gil Schafer.
The book signing desk!
And now, I present to you, a mini modeling session with David and Gil…
Possibly my favorite photo from the weekend.
I mean, come on. Are they adorable? Their talk was a favorite of mine. Sunday has largely been lifestyle or wine speakers for the past few years, and we wanted to try something new this year. An architect with a designer could go one of many ways, but this combo was a winning ticket. Their banter was fantastic, and their knowledge and expertise was on full display. The slides were sensational, and their delivery was on point - a perfect mix of delivering professional information with a side of humor.
The show chairs with Nikki - our extraordinary MC - who holds the show together like glue. She is kind, she is talented, and she is a natural on the stage. The show would not be the same without her.
Jill, our Advisory Chairman, with her husband, plus Janel, Dealer Advisor.
Honorary Chairs, Kyle and Mike, with their darling daughter, Ava.
Mogens, longtime supporter of the show, and Gil chatting…
Sharon with her granddaughter, Ava both thrilled to honor their daughter and mom, honorary chair, Kyle!
Luncheon attendees
Sara Huse provided lots of original art for the show. Loved this display!
The tiger outside the entrance, honoring Bruce Lauritzen, is dressed handsomely for the event.
It is impossible to show every detail and person who contributed to the show. Although this is a more complete look into the weekend than my preview, it is still only a coup d'œil of this extraordinary weekend.
There are some additional photos from a Friday night event featuring Friday and Saturday speakers, Martyn Lawrence Bullard and Kathryn Ireland which I will be posting next. Here’s a sneak peek! Stay tuned!
