LGAS 2025

I’m thrilled to share some photos from the Laurtizen Gardens Antiques & Design Show in Omaha. I walked the show today with Mimi, my dear friend, and the daughter of one of the founders of the show, Mary Seina. We welcomed the dealers, who have become wonderful friends through the years. We travel to different shows to see them and support them. We are honored to have them in Omaha and look forward to seeing them each and every year.

The show is SO GOOD this year! I couldn’t wait to get home and download these photos to share with you!

I parked right in front of these floral flamingos!

What a lovely greeting to the garden!

Spectacular entrance. They were still setting up, so this is just a sneak peek. There is so much more to see! I hope you will plan to attend this weekend! You can check out the show schedule here.

Swans were a recurring element of the Parisian theme this year, and they are prominently displayed throughout the show. These are from Don Fields and Craig Ringstad Antiques. They are such a dynamic duo and always bring the goods for their followers. Visit them on instagram!

Loved this painting in their booth as well… A stunner!

Lotus Gallery is a fan fav for sure.

That blue vase took my breath away!

This miniature set blew our minds… Each piece is signed by the artist.

Guess who’s back? Back again? Thomas Fortner Antiques! Go tell a friend! Thrilled to hug Tom and he obviously brought the beauty!

The rug is to die for, but the green leather stool is what I’m drooling over. Let me know if you need the measurements for the rug… I have them!

Oh look! A swan!

Tony Scornavacco

Some Omaha gals have visited Tony’s shop in Minnesota! We love him and his booth is gorgeous!

Everybody’s favorite bee keeper - Trace Mayer, Ladies and Gentlemen!

My museum bee followers are gonna freak out when they see these “bees”! These are some of the most coveted bees every week, and I’ve never been lucky enough to get one! But I did reserve a couple today! Stay tuned to my avid followers!! Coming soon!

These are so cool! Not in the museum bee collection, these were sculpted by Gaston Lachaise in gilt bronze, originally intended for Bugatti as a hood ornament in the 1920’s! Bugatti never produced this, but the Philadelphia museum of art did in the early 1950’s when they had a retrospective of his work. Wouldn’t it be the greatest gift for that hard to buy for man in your life!?

I told Trace every year his display gets a little crazier! He loved that compliment…

This man is so clever. He comes up with new ideas on the regular. The new ceramic balls are fantastic, and his newest creation? Using an Hermes tie fabric for the backing of a lucite frame!

Trace always brings a special stash of amazing paintings. This is my favorite, this year.

Look at this gorgeousness at Greenwald Antiques! I’m obsessed with nasturtium and was so drawn to this!

I bought a bag from Ron last year, and lo and behold they brought a strap for the same bag to me this year! This is the kind of customer service you can expect from Ron!!

The garden really goes all out for the show. The flowers are gorgeous everywhere you look!

Here are some lovelies from Schorr & Dobinsky

You guys, I want these marriage boxes so badly.

The color!!

Coulee Oriental Carpets, lovingly referred to as our “rug guy” brought the goods!

Fun to meet a new dealer this year, The Ann Park Collection! She was still getting unpacked and I can't wait to go back and shop!

If you are looking for the most beautiful majolica in the land, look no further. Jesse Davis Antiques Ltd is your man. I could honestly spend an entire day in this booth. Each piece I admire is more special than the last. A truly amazing and unmatched collection.

Mimi and I fell in love with the lavender dish with that precious yellow apple.

Embellish Antiques was chock full of accessories galore.

I’ve got my eye on that blue box… I’ll beat you to it!

Silver Art by D & R / Antique French Fine Arts - the most exquisite pieces you will find anywhere!

More stunners from Kathy Tobler Silver. She had some darling match strikers!! Old ones are hard to find!

Maison & Co continues to impress with the most beautiful displays!

The side eye…

Doesn’t that urn look familiar! If you follow me on instagram, you know that I have a pair and post my ivy regularly! Here’s one from today!

Arader Galleries has some insanely gorgeous pieces… per usual.

Excuse the lighting on these, but OMG. Aren’t they fantastic!?

Jayne Thompson Antiques = the most beautiful booth in the world.

Our dearest friends at Barley Twist always bring something I can’t live without.

This year, it’s this incredible roof tile! I die for it!

Also loving this hippo! Who needs a hippo?

I bought a ring from Loana Marina Purazzo a couple years ago and it is still one of my favorite pieces! I always check out her turquoise pieces for my daughter Hillary.

Look at that choker!

I’m so very sorry I didn’t make it to every single booth today! I can’t wait to visit Birdsall-Haase - the most stunning jewelry and art, Chicago Center for the Print - the most delightful American and European antique posters, Redefined Decor - a wonderful eclectic mix of vintage home accessories, The Spare Room, specializing in Georgian and Victorian jewelry and collectibles and Vintage Lux - handbags and accessories galore!

Roberto Freitas American Antiques and Decorative Arts

Period American Furniture of the 18th and 19th centuries, complimented by folk art and decorative arts. I took this photo from afar, but need to spend time in his booth tomorrow. It is so special.

Ok, guys, that’s it for today!

Fell in love with the shape of these leaves.

They are soft, like lamb’s ear! Need this in my yard asap.

I’ll be at the show ALL weekend!

There are incredible speakers and lots of additional free events! Here is a link to the show schedule.

Congrats to the 2025 show chairs and honorary chairs!

I’ll be posting on instagram, if you’d like to follow along!
